ALEXANDRAS AVENUE
Alexandras starts from Patision Avenue at Pedion tou Areos Park and ends in Ampelokipoi - the junction of Kifisias Avenue and Vasilissis Sofias. It goes noticeably uphill. It has - as we go up - on the left the Gyzi area, the Supreme Court of Greece and the Headquarters of the Security Police of Athens.
On its right the northern side of Lycabettus Hill and the old Panathinaikos soccer field - Apostolos Nikolaidis - which is slotted to be moved out of the center and turned into a green area within the next few years.
HOT SPOTS - What we propose
AMERICAN-STYLE FOOD & FUN
When in the mood for some good old fashion burgers and fries with a side of live sports action, Alexandras Avenue has two excellent venues to choose from. First is "Applebees", which is located to the old Panathinaiko Stadium. A bit further up and across the street is "T.G.I. Friday's" with its many television screens showing games from all over the world.
