GLYFADA

Although there were homeowners there, the proper Glyfada area was originally constructed by the United States military so as to facilitate their personnel stationed there when the base was active.

This is why you might feel the difference from any other area of Athens because the streets are more spacious and, in general, Glyfada’s space planning is much less chaotic.

Shopping and having fun by the sea is pretty much what it’s all about here.
