GYMS AND PILATES

Gymnasiums were popular even during the Ancient times in Athens (the origin of the Olympics was enough to prove that!).

Modern day gyms only really began flourish and bring large percentages of the city population in the past two decades. Youths, more than ever, have become body conscious, but middle-aged folks also have realized the long term benefits of getting physically fit.

Visitors to the city might not have the greatest luck getting daily rates at facilities here but classes, such as Pilates, are usually available on this basis.
