METRO LINE 3

Looking over the line from west to east, after "Monastiraki" and "Syntagma", we meet "Evaggelismos". There, we discover showcases of archeological finds and a small stratigraphy on the first level of the station, as well as the work "Mott Street" by Chrysa – a structure of aluminum and synthetic material, lit by fluorescent lamps on its posterior. Outside of this station, there is the "Column" by George Zoggopoulos.

In the "Megaro Mousikis" Station, we find pictures of the soprano Maria Callas and the composer Dimitris Mitropoulos. We also find the work "Bouboulina" by G. Feidakis.

In the "Ampelokipoi" Station there is the work "Procession" by Steven Antonakos, that inevitably will draw your attention as you ascend Alexandras Avenue, since it joins you to the surface, following the same route, with multicolor neon pipes that play on the ceiling.

On the ticket office level of the "Ethnikis Amynis" Station, you may see the "Underground Park" by Costats Tsoklis. It is a line of trees mirrorred by three sides to add depth to the station, like it was a small grove. While you are awaiting for your train to appear, you may admire sculptures by Greek artists that are no longer living, like the "Pillar" by Klearhos Loukopoulos, the "Nouvelle Generation IX" by Costas Koulentianos and the work "The Dying Warrior" by Dimitris Kalamaras.

Lastly, the newest stations of the line, "Chalandri" and "Duchess of Placentia", have a contemporary character, with the latter having a more industrial design.
