METROON (OLD BOULEUTERION)
This is where all of the official archives of the ctiy were stored, the protocols of the Boule and other documents – all under the protection of the Mother Goddess. The building has an Ionian propylon of the 2nd Century B.C.

BY FOOT: Going up from Monastiraki Square, take Adrianou Street for a 5 minute walk to the Ancient Agora. From the Thissio Metro Station, it will only take a couple of minutes on Adrianou Street to reach the Agora.
