OTHER MODERN SIGHTS

The variety of Athens is experienced in the easy alteration of the landscape as we stroll around it.

The hills and parks in and around the downtown area filter the elements that make Athens a Megalopolis. However, the old churches and the neoclassical buildings of the previous century remind us that sights worth seeing are not only the ancient ruins.

Of course, Athens is quite large and has much to offer that keeps visitors interested when downtown sightseeing is completed.

This applies to Piraeus, as well, where the element of water changes the scenery at every turn and the narrow center ceases to exist.
