POSEIDONOS AVENUE

"Paraliaki" (Coastal road), is how Athenians call the major avenue across the coastline - seldom with its proper name - especially when it is summertime and many head to the bars / clubs / all-nighters of "paraliaki".

Poseidonos (Poseidon's) Avenue begins in front of the Peace and Friendship Stadium, on the borders Moschato and crossing Kallithea, Palaio Faliro, Alimos, Elliniko and Glyfada, continues changing its name to Alkyonidon Avenue, and continues toward the areas of Voula, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza.

With three or more lanes in each direction, it is highly accommodating, but sometimes it gets jammed. This happens more often during the nights of summer months, when it becomes one of the epicenters of the Athenian nighttime entertainment.

HOT SPOTS - What we propose

FLISVOS MARINA & PARK

Make this one of your destinations for a leisurely morning stroll, where you will pass by a green park onto the marina. There you will find a number of restaurants and cafes directly in front of the multitude of yachts docked right by the sea. There are also a number of stores located in the complex for you to do some window shopping.
