TICKETS AND INFORMATION

Beginning on January 1st, 2009, the tickets used for buses and trolleys became mainly combined into one. This includes all of the vehicles of the Athens Urban Transport Organization: buses, trolleys, tram, electric railway, Metro (up to Koropi) and suburban transport (only for the local zone of Magoula-Piraeus-Koropi). These unified tickets do not include the Express Lines to the airport, the E22 Line to Varkiza-Saronida, the section of the Koropi Metro and suburban transport outside the local zone of Magoula-Piraeus-Koropi.

90 minute duration ticket prices for all public transportation: Regular: 1.00 €, Reduced: 0.50 €

Day-long ticket prices for all public transportation:
Cost: 3.00 €

Week-long ticket prices for all public transportation:
Cost: 10.00 €

The convenient factor with these tickets is that they may be purchased anywhere that E.T.H.E.L. and É.L.P.A.P. counters are found, in addition to all of their line stations and a numerous amount of kiosks, dime stores, post offices and sidewalk salesmen.
