Vouliagmenis Avenue is a keystone road that begins downtown and with a southern direction ends in Voula where it connects with Alkyonidon Avenue (extension of Poseidonos Avenue).
Before it reaches this point, it crosses the Municipalities of Dafni and Agios Dimitrios, separates Ilioupoli from Alimos and Argyroupoli from Elliniko and finally passing Glyfada to end in Voula.
Vouliagmenis Avenue is the fastest street to use when traveling from Athens Downtown to Cape Sounio, the southern end of Attica.
The avenue is lined with many ultra-modern corporation buildings, furniture stores, numerous mega-supermarkets and a lot shopping opportunities such as the Athens Metro Mall. Very characteristic is the huge vintage advertisement "Olympic Airways" on Vouliagmenis Avenue (at the junction with Alimou Avenue).
