The Ancient Theater of Epidaurus resides in the Peloponnese, but during the summer it is considered an extension of Athens at nearly 173 km (approximately 2 hours) for those who follow the relevant artistic events of the Athens & Epidaurus Festival. For over the 5 decades, the theater seats 14,000 around a stage that has received all the leading stars of the post-war Greek theatrical arts.
