About

The collective Anagoor, particularly known to Italian and European audiences, presents three different shows. Borrowing images and symbols of world culture for her works, she undertakes a journey through collective memory. Named after the demon who tempted Faust, Mephistopheles, the Anagoor team presents in video footage collected between 2012 and 2020:

it's about the images of a journey through the tears of the world, with an electronic live set by Mauro Martinuz.

Mephistopheles (he-who-hates-the-light according to a possible Greek etymology) is a long tour of the dark regions of the universe, where the darkness and suffering of generations originate. At the center of this journey is man's relationship with nature, love, time, technique and the absolute, the impossible. The vast number of unpublished images finds its composition in this flight and fall, in the form of an original audio and visual experience.
