Polkar will close this year's season, with the last concert on Saturday, May 13.

With music that is characterized as "festival balkan", "Polkar" started as the musical group of the actor Giorgos Papageorgiou with the musician Yiannis Kyratsos next to him. They got their name after a trip the band took to Serbia in 2013. In Slavic "polkar" means "drunken dancer who sings a hoot". In their live, they have as their axis the creation of an open musical theater performance in interactive communication with the audience, effortlessly passing through all the musical genres that concern them.

They were created 10 years ago in Thessaloniki, using as raw material for their sound, the heavy Balkan air and the glorious years of the '90s that they grew up in the musical pioneers of Ano Ladadika.
