About

A nostalgic tribute to the Greek tango is presented by the Friends of Music Association with the Municipal Athenian Mandolin Studio "Dionysios Lavragas" led by Apollon Kouskoumvekakis and selected performers, who will take the audience on a journey to the romantic era of old Athens.


They perform: Anna Matsouka, Babis Tsertos, Konstantinos Tzemos and Christos Ambrazis and they revive wonderful melodies, with the love verse of great composers and lyricists of the interwar period. Pairs of dancers from the Academia del Tango school enliven the atmosphere of the time on stage.
