This year marks 50 years of Vassilis Papakonstantinou in the Greek discography and he is celebrating with us, with a big concert - celebration in Kallimarmaros on Wednesday, June 14.

A concert that will summarize the most important moments of a musical journey that has managed to mark the lives of all of us.

A retrospective concert with the screening of rare visual material from Vassilis' fifty-year career.

An emotional, but also full of momentum, concert that will take us to record stations, historic concerts, timeless favorite songs, stories and bands that made history.

A journey through time guided by the lyrical, dynamic, deeply emotional voice of Vassilis and accompanied by the greatest composers, poets and lyricists that this place gave birth to: Miki Theodorakis, Manos Loizos, Thanos Mikroutsikos, Tasos Livaditis, Costas Karyotakis, Nikos Kavvadias, Nikolas Asimo, Stamati Mesimeri, Costa Tripoliti, Giannis Negrepontis, Alki Alkaios, Odyssea Ioannou, Lina Dimopoulou and so many others.

On Wednesday, June 14, Vassilis will sing to us everything we love, move us and unite us. We will all become one - young and old - under the magical voice of Vassilis that only he has been able to achieve with his authentic presence for 50 years now.

Companions on Vassilis' musical journey are always his permanent collaborators, with Andreas Apostolou on orchestrations and piano, Vangelis Paterakis on electric bass, Stefanos Dimitriou on drums, Mary Brozis on violin, Yannis Augeris on electric guitar, Apostolos Mosios on acoustic guitar and Giorgos Theodoropoulos on keyboards. After many years, two dear friends, Christoforos Krokidis and Tania Kikidis, will be on stage with Vassilis to celebrate and sing with him.

The concert will be accompanied by the vocal ensemble "Rhythmos" with the music of polyphony and conductor Nikolaos Chiotoglou.

On Wednesday, June 14, Kallimarmaro will be "flooded" by the flame of our hearts and the spark of Vassilis' eternal youth.
