GREEK LIVE
The night clubs in Athens are unique unto themselves. It is more customary to find older age groups at the tables but this does not mean that there are not many young people who love Modern Greek music and flock to these clubs to hear their idols in person.
The secret to these venues success is that Greeks are fond of letting loose in live clubs. Common sights are women dancing seductively on top of tables in front of onlookers.
The only rule is, that there are no rules! Surprisingly, the majority of money does not go to ordering drinks, but to buying carnations – which are then thrown (mainly) at the performing artist.
