Apollo

Apollo

Primarily connected with sun's daily trek across the morning sky, god of music, light, poetry, healing, truth and divination, the god Apollo ruled over almost all aspects of everyday life.

The son of Zeus and Lito and, also, the twin brother of goddess Artemis, Apollo was worshipped at Delphi - an ancient city located at the base of Mount Parnassus where an Oracle was said to guide all visitors seeking the divine guidance.

It was said, that when people would question the entity, she then became filled with the essence of the gods and replied in a string of gibberish, that could only be deciphered by the sacred clerics.
