Athens Suburbs
As the proud capitol of Greece, the city area of Athens, hosts close to half of the entire country's population within numerous and colorful neighborhoods. Each of these areas have their own character and points of interest.
The northern suburbs of Kifissia and Ekali are considered the "Beverly Hills" of the city, where luxury shopping and mansions are the norm.
The Southern areas of Glyfada and Voula see heavier traffic during the summer months, as many Athenians make their way down to enjoy the beaches and nightlife under the stars.
Furthermore, Pireaus is undoubtedly one of the most famous ports in Europe, yet still manages to hold onto its old-world charm.
This comes into complete contrast to the fledgling area nearby the Eleftherios Venizelos Airport - where delights such as the Attica Zoo and various shopping outlets keep us in touch with the present.
