Panathinaikos BC
The basketball club created in 1919 is part of the multi-sport club of Panathinaikos and the oldest basketball team in Athens. It is the most successful Greek basketball club in Europe with 6 EuroLeague Titles, 2 Triple Crowns, and 1 Intercontinental Cup. In Greece the club has won 39 Greek League Championships, and 20 Greek Cups. PAO holds the record for most consecutive Greek titles with 9 consecutive Greek League Championships for the period 2003-2011 and 6 consecutive Greek Basketball Cups for the period 2012-2017. The team's home court is the Nikos Galis Olympic Indoor Hall - the largest indoor venue, part of the OAKA sports complex with a capacity of 18,989 seats for the basketball games. Many great players (both Greek and foreign) have contributed to the success of the club, which draws thousands of supporters and holds records of attendance at European and Greek matches.

Olympiakos BC (OSFP)
Founded in 1931, the professional basketball club is part of the major multi-sport consortium of Olympiakos and the second most successful Greek basketball club in Europe. The "Reds" have won 3 Euroleague Championships and 1 Intercontinental Cup. In domestic competitions, they have won 14 Greek Championships and 11 Greek Cups. The strongest presence for the club was in the 1990's when FIBA declared Olympiakos as the Best European team of that period. It was the first Greek basketball team that played against the NBA team of the Chicago Bulls for the 1997 Championship and lost 78–104. The club’s roster has been enriched with many star players that contributed to the success of the club through the years. The home court for Olympiakos B.C is the Peace and Friendship Stadium (SEF) - an indoor arena located in Faliro with a seating capacity of 14,950 spectators. The passion and support of the team’s fans are evident in every match at the Stadium, where a loud and cheerful atmosphere is created.

AEK BC
Established in Athens in 1924 by Greek refugees from Constantinople (Istanbul), the basketball club is part of the multi-sport club of AEK. It is the first basketball club to compete in Europe and win the European title of 1968, and the former European Cup known as FIBA Saporta Cup twice. AEK B.C has won 8 Greek League Championships, and 5 Greek Cups. The Sports Journalists' Association of Greece, has granted AEK the award for best Greek team in all sports on 3 occasions. Another award for the club is the love and support it enjoys from the people especially because of the feeling of solidarity towards refugees is strong within the team and the supporters of AEK who spread across the world. Their home court is the Nikos Galis Olympic Indoor Hall - one of the most modern basketball courts in Europe with a seating capacity of 18, 989 spectators. The club's roster has both Greek and foreign talent and the history of the team has some emblematic figures to show who actually paved the way for younger players.
