The small taverns, with or without live music, are an integral part of Greek tradition. They are our meeting points, the places where we can chat any time of the day, with a glass of wine in our hands, seated on old wooden chairs.

The absolute pleasure is of course when the tavern is at a somewhat remote place, with few and recherché people, the familiar sound of bouzouki and some enthusiasts dancing next to us. This is the way the Greeks relax "in the Greek way", and this image usually surprises those that don’t know what they will experience when coming to Athens.
