Classical Music & Opera
In the past, the National Opera of Greece was located on Akadimias Street in the center of Athens. With the opening of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Paleo Faliro, the Opera moved there and now offers a wide range of classical music and operatic events in a modern multifunctional hall with a large capacity.
Other classical music events are also frequently held at the National Theater of Greece, the Municipal Theater of Piraeus and of course at Megaron Moussikis (Athens Concert Hall) on Vasilissis Sofias Avenue, and continue to inspire the Athens cultural scene.
