Collections of the Hellenic Motor Museum

Presently, the Hellenic Motor Museum has a collection of 340 cars of which 112 are displayed periodically. While touring the museum, guests will have the opportunity to admire unique exhibits of the automotive world, that one can only see in only a few corresponding foreign museums or read about them in international bibliographies.

Highlights of the collection include:
- Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant’s 1959 Chrysler Imperial
- Sir Lawrence Olivier’s Rolls Royce Wraith of 1938
- Formula 1 driver Lorenzo Bandini’s personal 1953 Lancia Aurelia
- 1979 Cadillac Seville Gucci with its Gucci-designed interior and exterior fitments
- The oldest vehicle of the collection: a 1895 fire engine from Hungary
- The newest vehicle of the collection: a 1980 Mercedes Benz 450 SL

«The second collection is already intensively being prepared, featuring exclusively racing cars, which will replace all the current exhibits.»
Theodore N. Charagionis, Founder of the Hellenic Motor Museum

Road safety programs give to future drivers a basic knowledge combining play and education, while the more adventurous visitors have the opportunity to try their reflexes on a Formula 1 simulator!

"Circulate with Safety"
In collaboration with "Road Safety Institute Panos Mylonas", this pioneering program is addressed to all schools, public or private, in the area of Athens, as well as in all areas of Greece. Its aim is to introduce to all young persons the basic principles of traffic education.

The program is hosted in a special area of 160 m2 and is located on the 3rd floor of the museum. Road safety programs for schools and groups can be scheduled upon formal request.
