Where are the best neighborhoods to stay in Athens?

Besides the classic districts in the Athens' historic center (Plaka, Monastiraki, Psiri), Kolonaki, Pagrati, Mets and Koukaki are popular areas to stay. This is where most hotels and Airbnb apartments can be found. Other up-and-coming areas in Athens are Metaxourgeio, Exarcheia and Kerameikos. If you want to stay in coastal Athens, Palaio Faliro, Alimos, as well as Glyfada and Voula are definitely recommended.


What is the regulary check-in time for Hotels in Athens?

Check with your hotel when you make your reservations, the norm is after noon time between 13:00 and 14:00 (with check out time being 12:00).


Can I make reservations to sightseeing tours directly from my hotel?

Yes. The hotel services will be able to help you and provide all the information you may need to handle your reservations. Mostly the tours which you book from the hotel are a bit more expensive, but certainly offer a comfort, because you will be picked up at the hotel.
