Omonoia Metro Station

The important Metro Station of Omonoia was inaugurated on May 17th, 1895. It is partly outdoor type open and partly underground and has double-sided platforms.

In the Omonoia station of Athens Metro the project curated by visual artist Nikos Kessanlis. His name is called "Oura" (def. "tail"). It shows shady figures that appear to be waiting, shouting, raising their hands and exhibiting patience.

The Omonoia Metro Station serves line 1 (green line) and line 2 (red line) of Athens Metro.
