Santorini is also called Thera. It's an amazingly beautiful destination, where you may combine moments of relaxation with cosmopolitan holidays.

The name Thera is taken after the Theras of Sparta, who settled in the island and founded a colony, called "Mesa Vouno". The name Santorini derives from that of the church dedicated to Saint Irene, or from the that of the early Christian basilica in Perissa.
