Stadiou Street is a major shopping street which took its name from the Kallimarmaro Stadium (Panathenaic Stadium). It connects Omonoia Square with Syntagma Square, the Old Parliament House, and Klafthmonos Square and it is parallel with Panepistimiou and Akadimias Streets.

Stadiou Street and the area around it is lively and offers many shopping arcades and interesting stores.
