Sightseeing in Faliro

The coastline of Palaio Faliro, between the Athens Marina, Flisvos Marina and the Flisvos Park is ideal for walking or cycling and there are many things to discover. If you walk along the beach in northern direction you will reach Piraeus. If you go south, you will reach the suburb of Alimos.

On Poseidonos Avenue 41 you will see a statue of Konstantintinos Palaeologos on his horse. It is a work by the academic sculptor Ioannis Pappas, who in this way wanted to pay tribute to the last emperor of the Byzantine period. Set in a very beautiful location by the sea, it is always well preserved and clean. More than usual, the statue initiates its viewer to search and to learn more about the person it depicts.
