Sightseeing on Lysicratous Square

This charming place is located in the heart of the Plaka and owes its name to the ancient Monument of Lysicrates. From here it is only a short walk to the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, Arch of Hadrian, and the Roman Agora.

If you also walk from Lysicratous Square towards Acropolis Hill, you will find, a little hidden, the beautiful Anafiotika village which reminds you of a Cycladic island with its white houses and narrow streets.
