Streets of Historic Center
The streets of the historic districts of Athens all have one thing in common, the breathtaking view of the Hill of Acropolis.
Adrianou Street, Ifaistou Street, Vyronos Street and Pandrossou Street are the most famous shopping streets in Monastiraki and Plaka. Aiolou Street is the direct link between the Plaka district and the vibrant modern center, and also a good idea to make a shopping trip to old Athens.
For ancient sightseeing, take the well-known pedestrian walkway Dionysiou Aeropagitou Street, which will take you around the Hill of Acropolis that have the most important archaeological monuments of Athens. Furthermore, on this street you will find the impressive Acropolis Museum.
