Syntagma Metro Station

Syntagma Metro Station took its name from Syntagma Square (Constitution Square), on which the main entrance is located. It is entirely underground 4- levels station with fixed and sliding electric scales.

Inaugurated on January 28th, 2000. The Syntagma Metro Station serves line 2 (red line) and line 3 (blue line) of Athens Metro. The station has elements of modern aesthetics, such as the so-called "Clock Metro", created by sculptor Theodoros Papadimitriou. Also you will find lot of archaeological founds from the area around the Syntagma Square.
