Museum of Greek Children's Art
This nonprofit museum is assigned as a cultural association and was founded in 1994. The Museum of Greek Children’s Art (M.G.C.A.) exhibits the paintings and other artwork by children up to 14 years old. It aims to promote the uniqueness of children’s art.
The Museum of Greek Children's Art in Plaka regularly organizes seminars and workshops for children, teachers and parents. M.G.C.A.'s exhibitions change frequently and include mostly works of children.
The Museum of Greek Children's Art stands apart because of its focus on education through visual Arts. In its 18 years of experience it exclusively addresses the child by using the artists' language. Adhering to its principals, the museum collaborates with institutions interested in promoting children's art internationally.
