67th Flower Show of Kifissia coming to a close
An exhibition full of the aroma of Spring, which is now an institution both for the Municipality of Kifissia and for the whole of Attica, is closing its gates this weekend. The 67th Flower Show in the grove of Kifissia "Dimitris Zomopoulos" will last until May 23rd, 2021, bringing in the difficult times of the pandemic the joy of flowers, colors, and aromas.
The event is being carried out in strict compliance with all health protocols and instructions of EODY, for the safety of visitors. For this purpose, the crews and the staff of the municipality worked "feverishly" all the previous period. All disinfections and cleanings have been done and will continue to be done on a daily basis the disinfection of special surfaces (benches, knobs, tables, boxes, etc.) inside the grove, but also outside perimeter.
Antiseptics have been installed at 70 points and the kiosks were installed at a distance from each other. The entrance and exit of the public are made through different doors and there is a one-way direction of the flow of visitors, while the entrance is controlled by maintaining a maximum number of visitors in the grove and by thermometry in the presence of a doctor.
Of course, the use of a double protective mask (or high protection mask) is mandatory, as well as keeping distance and there are trained staff for the safety and convenience of visitors.
The institution started in 1937 and is the largest exhibition in Greece in the field of floriculture, as it is an important commercial event, which attracts thousands of visitors each year, both professionals and amateurs of green and flowers, who combine their walk in a beautiful place, with their purchases of floricultural and horticultural items and products.
During the Flower Show, nurseries and florists have the opportunity to attract the interest of visitors, promoting their products and talking to them providing any advice.
