2022 Japanese Festival
At the Pireos & Petrou Ralli center, activities will begin at 10:00 and run to 21:00 on both days.
The event was first held in 2019 and attracted 5,000 visitors. This year's events include 14 exhibitions (kimono, bonsai, and origami among them), 21 workshops for the public (including calligraphy, tea ceremony, Japanese bookbinding, sushi preparation, Japanese drums, sumo and swordplay), and several performances.
It is organized by the Greek Association of Traditional Japanese Arts and Culture, the Athens Bushido Center, and the Greek-Japanese Association.
Japan Festival 2022 will showcase Japanese culture of all times, from traditional to pop culture, including anime and manga, and Japanese films. It will include 8 lectures with 4 live streaming from Japan, 20 artists of Japanese drawing, and a cosplay parade.
