The known to all of us and arguably the best Greek Deep House Producer and DJ, Akylla, presents yet another one of his popular Breathe Deep parties - this time at beloved Oh Mama Brunch & Cocktail Bar in Glyfada on Saturday night!
Reflecting the general vibe of the party through his special musical perspective. Groovy and soulful house sounds with the right doses of New York Garage, Deep-Tech, and Deep House, emotionally connected and played with enthusiasm by a top-level DJ.

Akylla continues with the same passion to traverse the devoted audience of Breathe Deep, through long sets with deep driving tribal beats and soulful vocals, staying true to his musical roots and the original philosophy of the underground club culture.
For 3 decades, Akylla has been consistently mixing modern, electronic, and dance music, which moves in the spectrum of Afro, Deep, Spiritual, and Soulful House, making him one of the Masters in the genre.
BIO
DJ Akylla was born in Athens, Greece, and started collecting and playing records at age 13. He was first exposed to house music from tapes his brother sent him from New York City. These were tapes of weekend dance parties on the radio from DJs like Nicky Siano, Jelly Bean, Frankie Knuckles, Larry Levan, and others. It was these sounds that got him into the new form of music and evolving mixing techniques. His fond memories of this time were catching sets of DJ Tony Humphries at Zanzibar and then hunting down the tracks at local record stores. In 1988 Akylla made his first appearance in a New York club called Undochine which led him to numerous appearances in clubs like Palladium, Club USA, and Velvet in Miami. 1994 brought Akylla back to Athens where he collaborated with the Magna promotion team, and set out to bring the underground New York sound to Greece. From that time until recently he had been Magna's resident DJ in many clubs in Athens and summer parties on the island of Mykonos. This has allowed him to play alongside DJs like Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Little Louie Vega, Kenny Carpenter, and many others. Akylla joined the ranks of Summer 2001 Plus Soda residents and later created the successful MusicaHumana parties with fellow resident, Christo Z. He also had a weekend dance show on Athens's leading dance music radio station, a tribute to how it all began.

DJ THAI has been influenced by Soul - and so much more - by artists such as Sade, Chaka Chan, Stevie Wonder, Fela Kuti, Prince, Earth Wind & Fire... etc. His music is not not only influenced by fashion but is exactly what he himself wants to play, listen and dance: Deep, Soulful, and Afro House Rhythms, with long lifts & live editings. He has played with DJs who shaped the specific music scene abroad as well as in our country such as Danny Krivit, Timmy Regiford, Joe Claussell, Frankie Knuckles, and many more!
