NBA: Giannis, Doncic and Jokic the "machine guns" of the playoffs

The names of 3 Europeans dominate the list of the top active players in average points in the history of the NBA playoffs, in the "penthouse" of which Luka Doncic "sits round", even if the "prodigy" of Slovenia and Dallas Mavericks are not participating this year.
The names of 3 Europeans dominate the list of the top active players in average points in the history of the NBA playoffs, in the "penthouse" of which Luka Doncic "sits round", even if the "prodigy" of Slovenia and Dallas Mavericks are not participating this year.

This is Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets, of course Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks and, as we mentioned above, Luka Doncic, who in the Top-10 of the relevant list, occupy the eighth, seventh and first place, respectively!

The Athenian-Macedonian News Agency (APE-MPE) presents the achievements of the 3 Europeans and the list of the top active players in average points in the NBA playoffs:

THE EUROPEANS

8. NIKOLA JOKITS

Serbian Nikola Jokic is one of the top players in the NBA right now. He is a dynamic and versatile attacking weapon who can stand out in a match as a scorer or even a playmaker at any time. He is always unpredictable with the ball in his hands, stifling opposing defenses on a regular basis. In his eight NBA seasons, the two-time MVP has been to the playoffs five times with the Nuggets, including an appearance in the West Finals in 2020.

In the season that saw Denver advance to the Western Conference Finals in 2020, Jokic averaged 24.4 points on 51.9 percent shooting from the field. The following season he won his first MVP award for helping Denver reach the playoffs. The Nuggets advanced to the second round with Jokic averaging 29.8 points per game. In the first round of the 2022 playoffs, he averaged 31 points for Denver, but was shut out in five games. The Nuggets' playoff run this year, however, is full of dreams.

7. GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMBO

Our own 'Giannis' ranking seventh on this list is no surprise considering the dominance he has displayed throughout his career. Antetokounmpo began his NBA career with the Bucks in 2013-14 and has been to the playoffs eight times in 10 seasons, including an NBA championship and a Finals MVP award.

His best run was by far in 2021. In the playoffs as a whole and leading up to the championship, the "Greek Freak" averaged 30.2 points on 56.9% shooting from the field.. He left his best performance for the finals, where he averaged 35.2 points, to "destroy" the Suns and give the Bucks their second ever championship. Among his great performances was his 50 points in Game 6 to close out the streak and cement his name among the greatest players in Deer history.

1. LUKA DONCIC

The Slovenian has been in the NBA for five seasons, has competed in the playoffs three times, while this year he failed to qualify. Luka Doncic, however, had the best playoff performance by a player under the age of 25 the NBA has ever seen.

Doncic has led Dallas to the playoffs three times with a trip to the West Finals in 2022. He averages 31 points. In the 2022 Finals, Doncic had 31.7 points per game, shooting 45.5%!
