Public buses, trolleys holding new work stoppage - Hellenic Train: Additional routes start today
The last buses to carry out their schedules will leave depots as of 10:00 am in the morning. By 17:00 the same day, the schedules will operate as usual.
The continued protest action was announced jointly by the unions of the Athens Urban Transport Organization (OASA) and trolley (ILPAP) employees. More information on schedules is available on the telematics platform and on the information line 11185.
In related news, additional routes will be added to the railway network from Friday, April 7th, 2023.
Specifically, as stated in an announcement by Hellenic Train, as of today another pair of routes will be added on the axis Athens - Thessaloniki - Athens. From Athens the IC56 train, with a departure time of 14:28 and from Thessaloniki the IC59 train, with a departure time of 18:08 On the Suburban Railway in the Piraeus - Magoula - Piraeus section: From Piraeus every hour: 05.15, 06.15, 07.15, ....., 21.15 From Magoula every hour: 06.45, 07.45, 08.47, 09.47, ......, 22.47.
For passengers to and from Kiato and Corinth, there is a bus connection to Magoula station, (bus line on the section Magoula - Kiato - Magoula and intermediate stations, except Zevgolati, and Magoula - Corinth - Magoula, respectively). Reservations are required for buses, including unlimited travel card holders.
It is reminded that the bus lines on selected routes remain in circulation until the complete restoration of the railway traffic, while from 08/04/2023 the routes c50, c51, c56, c58, c59, c61, c62 are canceled on the Athens-Thessaloniki bus line , c63.
