Rains & storms on Sunday in several areas (and in Attica), with north winds and a slight drop in temperature
Afterwards, storms with the possibility of hail are expected mainly in the western mainland, in the Peloponnese, in the South Ionian, in the East and South-East Aegean and in Crete. Finally, snowfall will occur in places in central and northern continental areas above 1,400 meters.
The temperature will show a small drop and will not exceed 13-15 degrees in the northern mainland and Thessaly and 17-20 in the rest of the regions. An exception is Crete, where it is expected to reach around 21-22.
In more detail, the temperature in Western Macedonia will range from 0 to 11 degrees Celsius, in the rest of Macedonia, in Thrace and Thessaly from 5 to 14, in Epirus from 5 to 18, in Sterea from 5 to 17, in the Peloponnese from 6 to 20 , in the Ionian Islands from 8 to 18, in the North Aegean Islands from 8 to 12, in the Eastern Aegean Islands from 8 to 18, in the Cyclades from 11 to 16, in the Dodecanese from 12 to 18 and in Crete from 13 to 22 Celsius degrees.
Winds in the Central and Northern Aegean will blow from north directions 4 to 6 and at intervals up to 7 Beaufort. In the South Aegean the winds will initially blow from west directions 3 to 5 Beaufort, but from noon they will turn to northerlies of the same intensity. In the Ionian, the winds will initially blow from changing directions 2 to 4 Beaufort, but from the morning they will become northwesterly 4 to 6 Beaufort while in the afternoon and afternoon in its northern parts they will locally reach 7 Beaufort.
Clouds are expected in Attica, while local rains will occur at noon and in the afternoon. Winds will be from the north 2 to 4 Beaufort and from morning to afternoon 3 to 5 Beaufort. The temperature in the center of Athens will range from 10 to 16 degrees Celsius.
Intermittent clouds are expected in the prefecture of Thessaloniki. Winds will initially blow from the northwest 2 to 4 and to the west 3 to 5 Beaufort, but from the afternoon they will change to 3 Beaufort. The temperature in the center of Thessaloniki will range from 7 to 14 degrees Celsius.
