A Greek ship carrying humanitarian aid to Turkey is expected to sail from the port of Piraeus to Iskenderun later on Wednesday, the Hellenic Foreign Ministry announced.

The ship, M/V Neptune Okeanis, will transport four trucks filled with basic necessities such as blankets, bedding, heaters, personal hygiene items and medicines which were requested, as a priority, by the Turkish authorities.

The aid was collected by municipalities, regions and agencies around  the country.
