Stefanos Tsitsipas: Impressive Nick Kyrgios blocks with an upset
The battle in the first set was exciting with the 2 tennis players easily or difficultly holding their serve. At 5-4, with Kyrgios serving, Tsitsipas had three chances to break to get the first sir, but he did not succeed. But then, after keeping his serve and making it 6-5, he made the break and won the first set 7-5.
As a result, Nick Kyrgios has many of his usual outbursts to the referee, the public and his… racket.
In the second set, however, the Greek-Australian was stormy. With 2 breaks in Tsitsipas' serve, he easily reached 6-2 and tied at 1-1.
In the third and decisive set, Kyrgios came first close to the break in the 5th game, but Tsitsipas showed character and kept his serve and led 3-2 at that point.
What Kyrgios did not succeed in the 5th game he did in the decisive 9th, he led 5-4 and served for the third set. He managed to reach the victory and qualify for the quarterfinals, where he will face Pablo Karenio Busta.
