Thunderstorms, hail & gusty southerly winds from Saturday
According to the National Meteorological Service (NMS) weather emergency bulletin:
1. From the afternoon of Saturday (10/12) heavy rains and storms are predicted in the Ionian Islands, Epirus, western Sterea, from the evening in the western Peloponnese, western Macedonia, the western parts of Thessaly, central Sterea and from the night in the eastern Peloponnese (mainly in its southern parts).
It is noted that the phenomena during the night in Epirus, western Sterea, western Peloponnese and the western parts of Thessaly will be particularly intense.
2. On Sunday (11/12) heavy rains and storms are predicted
a) in the aforementioned areas until early afternoon
b) in eastern Macedonia, Thrace and the islands of the eastern Aegean from midday until the evening hours
c) in the Dodecanese from the afternoon until late at night
d) in the Cyclades and Crete at noon and in the afternoon
3. Stormy southerly winds are expected from 7 to 8 and on Sunday, mainly in the central and northern Aegean, locally up to 9 Beaufort.
