US Congressmen open the way to sale of F-35s to Greece
According to procedure, the US State Department approached the relevant foreign relations committees to sound them out before formally presenting a proposal to Congress for the sale of the F-35s.
The four required signatures included those of Senate Foreign Relations Committee chair Robert (Bob) Menendez (Democrat), vice-chair James Risch (Republican), House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs chair Michael McCaul (R), and vice-chair Gregory Meeks (D).
