NIGHTLIFE IN ATHENS
Athens by night is something that has made the city famous for many decades. For someone to be able to state that they know about going out in Athens, they must have visited dozens of the most well known venues in the valley and surrounding areas.
We are talking about everything from mainstream clubs, fashion mainstream, freestyle, dance, alternative rock, classic rock, live rock, ethnic, disco, Greek music and more. Imagine large clubs, good times galore and plenty of cocktails flowing. The good thing about the Capital is that most of its entertainment halls have their own personal style that gives a wide choice as to which place suits you best for the evening.
The Greek bouzoukia venues have their base in the areas of Bournazi and Peristeri. The biggest chapter of nightlife consists of the mega-music stages where the most popular voices in Greece perform their hits. Hundreds of musicians get the crowds off their feet and "set the stages on fire" almost every night of the week.
We have just given you a first taste of what Athens has to offer in terms of nightlife. If your appetites have been whet, search the Athens24 listings further in order to simply choose your next night spot.
