When it comes to the services that Athens Airport «El. Venizelos» offers to travellers, we just mention a few, such as banks, exchange offices, ATMs, car rental companies, luggage carriage, and of course, the pharmacy, the business center, the post office and the flower shop (for a forgotten kind gesture).

A round the clock service of luggage storage is available, charged by the hour and by the piece. The storage office is located in the Arrivals section at Level 0 of the main airport, with entrance number 1.

There is available travel information, hotel reservations, purchase of airline and boat tickets, cruise bookings in the E.O.T. (Greek National Tourism Organization) and the travel offices located on the Arrival Level 0.

The Athens Airport also offers Wi-Fi to its visitors. The "Wireless Internet Zone" (WiZ) Service is available within the airport's terminal. The first hour is free.
 

Eleftherios Venizelos Exhibition at Athens Airport
Finally, in the Athens Airport «Eleftherios Venizelos» there is a permanent exhibition honoring the historic politician that the Airport is named after, Eleftherios Venizelos.

This exhibition was organized in collaboration with the National Hellenic Research Foundation (NHRF) «Eleftherios Venizelos» and its purpose is to present to the travelers and the visitors of the airport, through a series of photographs, the significant part that Eleftherios Venizelos, the man, played in the historical and social course of the country. Also, it describes in brief the life and public work of this great politician of contemporary Greece.

The material of the exhibition mainly comes from the photography archives of the National Research Institute «Eleftherios Venizelos», the Public Library of the Municipality of Chania and the Benaki Museum.


Archaeological Collection of Athens Airport
The Archaeological Collection is located in Athens International Airports Main Terminal Building (Departures Level - Entrance 3). Here ancient finds are shown, which were found during the construction of the airport in and around the area.

The permanent exhibition of archaeological findings unearthed in Mesogaia, contains 172 archaeological relics dating from the Neolithic and Early Helladic era to the Post-Byzantine period. Introduced in 2003, it aims to highlight the rich cultural heritage of the area. Copies of some of the most significant artifacts brought to light during the construction of Athens International Airport, can also be venerated at the front entrances of the airport - Departures Level.

This small museum inside the airport is open around the clock and without entrance fee.

Metropolitan Exhibition Center
Another massive structure is the Metropolitan Exhibition Center located 2 km from the airport via the main access road of Attiki Odos. It is the largest, most modern and functional venue for exhibitions, conferences and events in Greece.

Metropolitan Exhibition Center (Metropolitan EXPO) has yearly more than 35 exhibitions and over 500.000 visitors. It can also be reached utilizing all the public means of transportation serving Athens Airport «Eleftherios Venizelos» and their free-of-charge shuttle bus service. Access by the car is also easy and the parking is free.
