Description

The Port of Lavrio was established in the 11th Century BC beside a small town in at the southernmost tip of Attica, Greece. It is the seat of the municipality of Lavreotiki. The ferry boats from Lavrio go to the nearby island of Kea and the Cycladic island of Kythnos, but also serve legendary Makronissos and remote Eastern Aegean islands, in particular Lemnos and Agios Efstratios.
