The well-known guitarist Kostas Baltazanis, in one of his rare appearances in Greece, is coming to Half Note on February 1st.

Costas Baltazanis and Friends at Half Note

He meets old friends and collaborators and makes a unique quintet, to give us a wonderful evening, improvising on original compositions of his own.

The multi-talented guitarist, has studied Jazz composition and Performance at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and since 1991 has been an active member of the Athens jazz scene. He has collaborated, recorded and shared the stage with great artists such as: Alex Foster, The Mingus Orchestra, Arturo Sandoval, David Friedman, Jeff Tain Watts, James Genus, Mike Wolff, Mike Richmond, Ron Savage, Omar Faruk Tekbilek, The Stuttgart Symphony Orchestra. In 2015 in New York he completed his musical project, entitled "End Of Seas" which is released digitally on all platforms (i-Tunes, Amazon, Spotify etc.).
