The transitional object, also known as comfort/transitional object, emotional support object, security blanket in the science of psychology, is an object that helps the child pass from one developmental stage to another, feeling safe. On the one hand, it constitutes a link of the child with the mother and the stage of the absolute relationship with her, and on the other hand, it helps him to join the new, "outside" social becoming.

In adult life we occasionally meet people who carry transitional objects, to stabilize their mental and mental health. Research in the UK states that 1/3 of the population hugs their stuffed animal to help them sleep soundly.

The above are the main narrative axes of this report. Seven (7) visual artists were invited to create their own transitory objects, their own emotional supporting possessions, which they could never part with either because this separation is often not possible or because they deliberately kept them inside, as talismans, in the human their evolution. Potentially, the work of each visual artist can be a security blanket that accompanies him on the lonely path of creation or can be a springboard to his later fame. What is certain is that transitory emotional objects - works, are a core of positive energy, even if they function as teardrops for our pain or as sound insulators that keep silent our inner scream.
