Shopping in the Modern City Center of Athens
Once again, it could be argued that almost any street in the center of Athens and its surrounding area could be considered "Shopping Streets".
Here, the focus is on where a visitor will find the greatest number of stores located on major avenues. The ease of finding their location is another pre-requisite, as is accessibility.
The downtown area around Ermou Street hosts a few large shopping centers but mainly keeps visitors busy with its quaint shops in the tourist areas and boutiques in certain upper class sections. In general, Athens will have whatever it is you are looking for.
