Trekking at Cape Sounio

Cape Sounio is one of the most scenic places in Attica offering magnificent sunsets over the Saronic Gulf. The National Park offers a beautiful hiking route. You can walk from Poseidon Temple towards Lavrio, walking in the green, always with the deep blue sea at your side.

The church of Agia Triada is a nice resting spot with shaded wooden tables and water from a natural spring, surrounded by abandoned buildings and mines. The trail at Agios Konstantinos (Kamariza) village offers beautiful views towards the sea and the islands of Kea and Makronisos and ends at Lavrio where the Mineralogical Museum highlights one of the most important aspects of Athens’ wealth and power in the Classical Era.
