He was born in Sweden to Greek parents, originally from Mouzaki and Kranea. She took her first steps in singing in Sweden by making arrangements with Antique on Greek hits, which started to resonate both in Sweden and in Greece. In 2005 with the song "My Number One" she represented Greece at Eurovision and managed to win first place, bringing the contest to Athens for the first time in history. After her participation in Eurovision, she now chooses to pursue a solo career in Greece, which highlighted her as one of the biggest pop stars of recent years.
