One of the leading jazz musicians of our country, Markos Chaidemenos, returns to Half Note on March 6 with a performance based on his new album entitled The Day After which will have just been released (4/3).
Markos Chaidemenos presents a record with 7 tracks which are personal compositions that move in the style of modern jazz, with influences from Herbie Hancock to Brad Mehldau and Robert Glasper.
Music for Marcos is mainly "personal research and battle with your inner world. Making music is also "coexistence with musicians". So putting his words into practice, for the last 8 years he has created his own jazz trio with Grigoris Theodoridis on bass and Panagiotis Kostopoulos on drums.Their style is an amalgam of modern and traditional jazz that nevertheless create a personal, distinctive and contemporary sound.
