ATHENS TRAM

"Past loves are never forgotten", said a wise culture.

The tram was one of the most affectionately remembered modes of transportation to Athenians, as it was used mostly in its history for people to enjoy its lavishness! After about 30 years since the last whistle of its horn was heard in Perama in 1977, the tram has returned.

From July 19th, 2004, Athens followed the examples of Berlin, Vienna, Amsterdam, Prague and Brussels by obtaining a modernized tram. Welcome back!
